Balinese Landscape
The Balinese always keep the balance of microcosmic and macro cosmic (cosmologies) of the natural world, creating a harmony relationship between the natural world and our living structural.
We do not duplicate the real nature but transfer the real part of the nature into the terrain, let the big tree even a hundred years old tree to be a part of the garden, to build an image of forest, let the sand fully scattered on the terrain for seaside look.
The important thing in Balinese garden is the application of mythological art and
statue. This is the key of the Balinese concept, with the art products we can mix two or three difference moods (i e. forest, rice field, and river side) to be in one unity in the look of the garden.
